Rome's new and wonderful Pope Joseph Alois Ratzinger born on April 16th, 1927 in Bavaria Germany is Romes' 265th reigning Pope. He is the sovereign of our beautiful
Vatican City. This is a place that you have to visit when in Rome!
The Vatican Museum filled with secular and religious artifacts is in itself a wonderful full day adventure.
From our central accommodation in Rome, our receptionists can plan your day and give you directions to reach the Vatican City in less than 15 minutes.
Our wonderful Pope was recently elected on April 19th, 2005 where many thousands of Germans and other Europeans flocked to Rome to see him. In his short term his has proved to be a Pope loved by many.
Of course many of our visitors to Rome have an unforgettable vacation when they have seen the Pope in person. Pope Benedict XVI has now both German and Vatican citizenship as the Vatican in Rome
is considered to be a separate country! Many of our clients enjoy sending post cards from the Vatican City as it has its own postal service, making a great thrill for their friends
to receive a historic stamp from the Holy Sea.
Passports are not necessary to enter the Vatican City.
